I just posted pictures of the view from my apartment before Katrina hit 6 years ago. It was on the fourth floor in the French Quarter on Bourbon St. And as much as living on Bourbon sucked, that apartment was oh so rad. I loved it. It was one big room with no kitchen and I lived there with 2 other people but we had the most amazing view of the city. I miss it.
Not just the view, but New Orleans.
Chicago isn't bad, don't get me wrong, but I am just homesick today.
And that I can't fucking sleep isn't helping.
